Welcome. I’m Kristin!
I’m represented by Tia Ikemoto at Creative Artists Agency and my fiction has been published in the Waccamaw Journal of Contemporary Literature, the Bookends Review, and coming soon, in The Raleigh Review.
I have an MFA from Lesley University, but most of what I’ve learned about writing has come from reading and taking classes with some of my favorite authors. And, of course, through a lot of trial and error with my work.
I write novels and short fiction and love teaching creative writing, too. I’m a big fan of summertime, clean sheets, and reading good books on the porch of my 130-year-old house. I post too many pictures of the beach and my hydrangeas to Instagram stories, if you’re into that sort of thing.
Since I live in Rhode Island, New England features prominently in most of my work. There’s something special and magical about this region, and I’m forever attempting to capture it in my stories.
